CAREER

One of tennis’ most explosive, exhilarating and entertaining players, Nick Kyrgios reached his first Grand Slam singles final at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships. Eight years earlier, when the Australian was a teenage wild card, he reached the quarterfinals. Kyrgios’ first Grand Slam title came in the men’s doubles event at the 2022 Australian Open.

CAREER

Known for the style and the power of his one-handed backhand – which some consider to be the greatest backhand in the game – Stan Wawrinka has won three Grand Slam titles. After a first major at the 2014 Australian Open, he was also the champion at 2015 Roland Garros and the 2016 US Open, leaving him just a Wimbledon title of a career Grand Slam. Wawrinka was part of the Swiss team which won the Davis Cup in 2014.
